Windo is an online store creator or builder made for businesses from various niches looking to create an online shop in minutes to sell their products virtually. It is a technology platform for influencers, solopreneurs, creators, and small and mid-sized businesses to set up an online shop in minutes without coding or subscription.

This documentation will guide you with the order flow and app updates features. It includes single or bulk orders, billing break-ups, order updates, shipping updates, payment updates, and shipping via partners in the Windo app. 

Single Order

You can add single products for sale at your online shop in minutes in the Windo app. To create a single order, follow the steps below.

  1. Open the Windo mobile app.
  2. On the home screen, tap on the Products tab.
  3. Tap on Add Products in the top-right corner.

Add product details for your new product below.

  1. You can add multiple images and videos for a product.
  2. Give a name to your product.
  3. Set a strike-off price and current price.
  4. Choose from a variety of product units.
  5. Add product descriptions.
  6. Set stock availability.
  7. Add collection and variants for a product.
  8. Add tax rates and set shipping timelines.
  9. Offer customization options for buyers like colors or flavors.
  10. Tap on Add product or Save as Draft.

Bulk Order

Bulk order creation is a web feature not available on Windo’s mobile app. You can add bulk products using Windo’s web app by visiting https://web.mywindo.shop/

To add bulk products, follow the steps below.

  1. Hover to the left sidebar on the website.
  2. Pull down on Products.
  3. Click Bulk Upload Products.
  4. Upload a .csv, i.e., an Excel Workbook file containing your products.
  5. Download a sample template to follow the correct upload format by clicking on the XLSX template link.
  6. Edit the file and enter your bulk product details.
  7. Save and upload that file by clicking Add or drag files to upload.
  8. Click Continue and view the preview of the uploaded products.
  9. After review, click Save and Add products.
  10. Go to Products List under Products from the left sidebar to view all newly added products.

Billing Break-up

You can view your billing break-up for orders received in the Payments tab in the Windo app. Follow the steps below to understand your billing break-up and total income.

  1. Open the Windo mobile app.
  2. Tap on the Payments tab.
  3. You can view the payment break-up summary, status-wise payments, mode-wise payments, and the list of orders at the bottom.
  1. Tap on the order for which you want to view the details.
  2. You can view the complete order details, customer details, payment details, and current order status in order details.

Shipping Updates

Sellers can view and set the shipping status for orders in the Windo app.

To view the current shipping status, follow the steps below.

  1. On the home screen, tap on the Payments tab.
  2. Scroll down to the order list.
  3. You can already see the payment mode and status from here.
  4. Tap on the order to get a detailed payment status summary.
  5. Scroll down to the Item list.
  6. You will see three types of order status here.
  7. The order status format is – order status, shipping status, and payment status.
  8. Tap on the second status to view the shipping status history.
  9. You can also Ship via partner for a specific order here.
  1. Tap on the Update Status and Shipping status button.
  2. Tap Add address to add your business address and activate ship via partner. You can ship with the partners available for your country.
  3. You can view the partner shipping status below the Item List.
  4. Tap on Update Status to set order and shipping status for an order.
  5. Choose appropriate shipping and order status and tap Update Status again.
  6. You can update the status with a custom note or update right away.
  7. Similarly, you can set and update the order status.

Payment Updates

Sellers/businesses can check the current payment status in the Windo app.
To check the payment status, follow the steps below.

  1. On the home screen, tap on the Payments tab.
  2. Scroll down to the order list.
  3. You can already see the status as pending or paid or anything else.
  4. Tap on the order to get a detailed payment status summary.
  5. Scroll down to the Item list.
  6. You will see three types of order status here.
  7. The order status format is – order status, shipping status, and payment status.
  8. Tap on the third status to view an order’s date, time, and payment status.

That’s how you can easily view order, shipping, and payment updates in the Windo app.
