Setting Up Delivery Charges by Zone
You can now charge distance-based or region-based delivery charges to customers on Windo. Enter a zone name and set delivery charges for specific distances or postal codes for that zone.
Region-based Delivery Charge
You can set up a fixed delivery charge for specific zones and specific postal codes in those zones with region-based delivery charges.
To set up region-based delivery charges:
- Open the Windo app
- Tap on the Settings tab.
- Tap on Shipping & Delivery.
- Tap on Areas Served.
- Choose Region-Based.
- Tap on Add zone.
- Enter the region name in Enter Zone Title.
- Enter the Eligible Postal Codes in the next box. Separate different postal codes with a comma.
- Hit Save.
To Add Delivery Charges For These Regions:
- Tap on Add shipping charge at the bottom.
- Choose Delivery Charge by Zone.
- Tap Add charges.
- Enter a Minimum and Maximum Order Value for the charges to apply.
- Select your custom zone name.
- Set a fixed delivery charge for this zone.
- Hit Save.
Repeat this process to add more zones and delivery charges.
Distance-based Delivery Charge
With the distance-based delivery charges feature, you can set up a delivery charge within a distance range for specific zones.
To set up distance-based delivery charges.
- Open the Windo app.
- Tap on the Settings tab.
- Tap on Shipping & Delivery.
- Tap on Areas Served.
- Choose Distance-based.
- Edit an existing zone or edit an existing zone placeholder.
- Enter the zone name.
- Select a unit of distance.
- Set a minimum and maximum distance.
- Hit Create.
To add delivery charges for these regions:
- Scroll down and tap on Add shipping charge at the bottom.
- Choose Delivery charge by Zone.
- Tap Add charges.
- Enter a minimum and maximum order value for the charges to apply.
- Select your custom zone name.
- Set a fixed delivery charge for this zone.
- Hit Save.

Setting up Digital Shipping
Merchants can sell digital or non-tangible products such as e-books, music, movies, and digital art on Windo with digital shipping. Customers do not have to enter a shipping address at checkout when enabled. Sellers can email the products directly to customers after they place an order.
Note: You can automatically upload and download digital products in the next version update when digital shipping is enabled.
To set up digital shipping.
- Open the Windo app.
- Tap on the Settings tab.
- Tap on Shipping & Delivery.
- Tap on Shipping Modes.
- Turn ON Digital Shipping.
You can now start selling digital products in your store. With this feature, your customers can complete orders without providing a shipping address.
Custom Physical Shipping Modes
We’ve added custom shipping modes to physical shipping. Merchants delivering in local areas can set up 30-minute or same-day delivery options in Windo.
- Open the Windo app.
- Tap on the Settings tab.
- Tap on Shipping & Delivery.
- Tap on Shipping Modes.
- Open Physical Shipping.
- Tap on Add custom below.
- Add a title (30-minute or same-day delivery).
- Choose a delivery type.
- Enter the minimum or maximum order value (optional).
